Career progression can be a touchy subject, especially if you feel your career hasn't progressed according to plan. But career paths are rarely a straight line. Focusing on one area of professional growth may open doors to you that you weren't aware otherwise existed. So one's career often involves twists, turns, and detours, which is seldom a bad thing. However, that all depends on the attitude in which you present it. Talk to the interviewer about your career journey, what you've accomplished, where you are going, and your intentions for the future.
