So if you simply answer by stating that you are looking for a job that is close to home and matches your skills, this won't align with their goals, and they'll hire someone else. Consider what this value proposition communicates, which they've posted on their website in their recruiting efforts: "Exciting and fast-paced, a career at Nordstrom means staying ahead of the trends, moving quickly and being part of something we think is pretty awesome."
