Nordstrom defines their brand of teamwork by coming together, be united in vision, and supporting each other and treating each other well. Without such an environment, it would be impossible to deliver a quality customer experience. As Erik Nordstrom put it, "It was very evident to me early on that people with different backgrounds and talents can come together and be better than any of us individually. You get the crew together every morning and talk about how we are going to take care of customers today and the curtain goes up and you've got to perform. We have been very explicit and absolutely believe that you can't create a place where you treat customers well if you don't first treat each other well. We have to be a great place to work."

How to Answer
A skilled interviewer aims to get to know you as a candidate, as a person, and wants to know the truth about who you are to determine your fit for the role. So part of your preparation should be putting equal measure into researching yourself, determining how you fit their mold, and how your approach to your work aligns with theirs. This will help you answer each of their questions with sincerely as opposed to seeming like you are trying to tell them what you think they want to hear in order to land the job.
