This question will help your interviewer gain a better sense of your personality. Specifically, whether you are an introvert, and ambivert, or an extrovert. This will help them better identify the type of tasks you might specifically excel at. Those who are introverted typically thrive on more solitary analytical tasks, allowing them to recharge their battery, whereas an extrovert typically recharges in more social and collaborative settings. Although most people may lean one way or another, rarely does a person fall under one extreme. Most people are different degrees of ambivert. So be honest and sincere, while maintaining an awareness of how Nordstrom is looking for candidates who will support and contribute to the team. Case in point; another of Nordstrom's core values is, "HERE TO WIN: We're committed to delivering results, both today and tomorrow. We win as a team by supporting and challenging one another to be better every day."

"I am more on the extrovert side of being an ambivert. Having said that, I do enjoy those quiet and reflective moments when they arise as well. But I am in it for the team. So whatever task is required, I am up for it."
