      What You Need to Know

      Nordstrom was started in Seattle, WA, a city that is generally considered progressive, containing a large LGBTQIA+ community. The company culture very much mirrors the culture of the city and surrounding area. As they state online, "Nordstrom is a better place when our employees can bring their whole selves to work, and a diverse workforce creates a better environment for everyone. We support and celebrate all of our employees, including members and allies of the LGBTQIA+ community."
