"We've all been on the receiving end of an incorrect bill. People who have been to the hospital or clinic don't have the time or energy for those kinds of mistakes. As a social worker, compliance and accuracy go along with the code of ethics we follow. This allows us to follow a basic framework to do our jobs effectively. Without these frameworks, damage can be done to our patients and clients as well as the company we work for. Being a social worker we want to do the least amount of harm by doing the right thing.
