Public Relations Managers tend to have a lot on their plate. The interviewer wants to know that you are able to effectively manage your time so you can get all of your tasks done. When you answer, discuss the different methods and tools you use to manage your time. You might also talk a bit about how you prefer to work in a fast-paced environment and how you manage and relieve stress.
"I believe that I'm very good at time management. The most important thing I do is prioritize projects by urgency and importance. This way I make sure to tackle the highest-priority items first and don't become overwhelmed. I also rely heavily on my online calendar to keep track of meetings. I like to block time for certain projects and tasks so I can concentrate and be very productive by avoiding distractions. In general, I enjoy variety in my work and a fast pace because it keeps me on my toes. I don't allow myself to get stressed out. By managing my time and implementing certain stress relievers, like taking a walk on my lunch break, I keep things under control and manageable."
