Discuss a time when you successfully collaborated with a team to meet a goal.
Use the STAR story method for this question. Discuss a specific time when teamwork was the reason a goal was met. Also, it does not have to be an example pulled from the job itself. If you had work outside your job that more directly shows the benefit of teamwork, use that. It's most important to show how you've worked with a team.
"In my previous job, our team collaborated every day in helping to meet marketing goals for clients. One of the things I'm proudest of, though, was a team project we undertook outside of our traditional work. We held a Saturday carnival to raise money for a local shelter. Each employee in our department had a different job for the event, from fundraising to marketing to sponsorships to set up and clean up. We held weekly planning meetings for the two months leading up to the event, and through our collaborative efforts, we were able to raise 3000 for the organization. The carnival was such a rewarding experience because while our team had worked together previously within a professional context, this was outside of our normal experiences, and we still managed to meet our goal."
