"At my first position at a bank before college, I was an assistant branch manager. I gave the owner a heads-up that I would be leaving in a couple of months. They were grateful that I gave them so much notice. I started training my successor as the new assistant manager. It went well, and in less than a couple of weeks, they were up to speed. My boss assured me I'd be assistant manager until I left, but I told them it would be better if I stepped down and my trainee became my boss. This way, I could back them up, be around to answer questions, and phase out my schedule. I stop in now and again, and they're all doing great."

Some strive to contribute to the big picture and the team's success. Others strive to develop themselves, driven by their ambitions to accomplish their personal and professional goals. There's nothing wrong with ambitiously trying to climb the ladder. But prioritizing the success of the team displays big-picture thinking. By contributing to the success of the company and the team, you contribute to your success and development.
Here's what JP Morgan says about Leadership on their website, "We Strive to Be Good Leaders.Remember that leadership is an honor and a responsibility. Understand that leadership is personal. Act quickly on tough issues and have the courage to fight for what you believe in. Share your passion to win. Support people who are willing to speak up - encourage constructive challenge. Be fair, be just, be willing to do the right thing - not the easy thing. Challenge the status quo: Fight social, racial and economic inequities. Get the incentives right (but that is not enough; people must feel they are valued and their contributions are important). Be a leader in your community. Strive for continual improvement - drive change and innovation and never stop learning. Help our people take care of themselves - their health and spirit."

Showing your personality can go a long way, just like in live interviews or phone calls. Even though you are talking to the algorithm, you want to imagine you are speaking to a real person. So try to come across as relaxed as possible, speaking in a level yet enthusiastic tone. Maintain eye contact, and smile softly. You want to have a confident and natural demeanor.

At my first internship, I informally was the coach of the younger interns who never worked a day in their lives before and were honestly nervous. I am the oldest sibling of 6 so I am a natural. I was able to show them how to use different online applications, how to speak up when they believe they have valuable information to share, and other general tasks. They were able to receive recognition at the end of the internship and won a medal for "most improved."

Great! It sounds like you did an excellent job of mentoring and guiding the junior interns. If management interests you, include a sentence at the end of your answer that conveys your excitement to one day manage and train others within this company. Good job!
