QUESTION 28 OF 31

Tell me about a time when you failed to solve a problem. How did you overcome the failure?

Applying the lessons learned from one's failure can easily be a driver towards future success. Resilience shines through when you can learn from your mistakes and keep going. Give an example that shows you can accept responsibility for your actions and inactions and apply what you've learned from those challenging experiences.

"Success is bouncing from failure to failure without losing momentum,"

"I was asked to solve our issue of employee turnover which ended up being much more difficult than I originally thought. My initial goal was to improve turnover by 70% but in the end, only reached 40% improvement. Although I did not reach my goal, I am still happy that my action plan made a difference."

Anonymous Answer

Anytime I have a failure, I always let my supervisor know in a short email, what happened and apologize if it affected our efficiency for the day. I let them know what I did wrong, how I am going to fix it for the future. I overcome the failure by learning from it, moving forward, and staying positive.
