Someone who is governed by their stress and doesn't have a firm grip on their emotional responses may make rushed, reactionary decisions that aren't well thought out and could result in compromising a company's assets. It could also contribute to a negative atmosphere that affects the rest of the team and hampers morale and productivity. Whereas someone who has a high level of emotional maturity and isn't easily governed by their stress could contribute to the team's overall productivity and positivity. Convey your ability to handle stress on the job, detailing the methods you employ to manage your stress. Talk to the interviewer about your ability to control pressure in the workplace.

I make sure I use my training in place for my position. I focus on the task on hand vs getting overwhelmed. I prioritized my workday. I trust that I have the skills to get the job done under stressful conditions. I also make sure I have a work-life balance and do things that make me happy when not at work. I also handle stress by being prepared by getting a good night's sleep during the workweek, keeping a clean and organized workspace always helps.
