Choose your words carefully. This is a tricky question, as no one is 100% honest, even when they try. Emphasize the importance of being able to wholly trust the other members of your team. Offer that you see great value in transparency, while consistently respecting the chain of command. Express that you try to be as honest with yourself as often as possible, especially when confronted with emotionally confusing situations. Then touch on your emotional stability, and that you don't let your emotions govern your behavior.

"I would love to give myself a 10/10 for honesty but truthfully - nobody is 100% honest all of the time. I will give myself an nine because I always do my best to be as honest as possible."

I would say a 9. Being honest in the work environment is important because it affects the bottom line. Always being honest when you make a mistake, communicating with your supervisor, 1)what the mistake was, 2) what your plan is to not make it again 3) apologize. I have done that in all my positions in the past and it has not only helped me improve but also gives my supervisor the chance to change their processes if other employees are making the same mistakes. Being honest is always the best policy!
