I would rate my communication skills either a 9 or 10. I am a perfectionist at my work and communication with my peers. If there is an issue with clarifying any questions I would be asked. Some ways that I ensure clear communication are by utilizing multiple methods of delivering messages and I give ample time for questions before implementing changes.

Stephanie's Feedback
That's wonderful that you have such strong communication skills! This response should have specific examples to back your rating, though. You mention being a perfectionist when it comes to communication; can you provide a few examples of what perfection means to you? Are you referencing verbal communication, written communication, or both? A few specific examples will help to take your response from good to great!

I rate myself an 8. I think I have really good communication skills, both verbal and written. But as everyone feels, I feel I can always improve as well.
Marcie's Feedback
Nice! Rating yourself an 8 is good because it indicates that you're a strong communicator yet you recognize that there's always room for improvement. Consider breaking the rating down into different categories, however, so you can throw in a few 9s or 10s in the areas where you're really strong. For instance, you can rate yourself for listening, non-verbal, writing, and verbal/interpersonal communication. Good job!
