I stay on top of these changes by obtaining newsletters and insurance resources. Sometimes when offered I would sign up for new training/information classes. I have taken training courses online for knowledge of CPT codes which are now deleted or an additional digit or modifier is needed. Also courses for changes with ICD-10.
