Other than what you've listed on your resume, are there any other certifications or licenses you are pursuing?
Travelers offers their employees several learning and development opportunities, including a learning experience platform that they host. In addition, some growth opportunities may require special certification or licensing. These requirements may differ from state to state. Talk to the interviewer about any additional certifications you hold, are currently pursuing, or have plans to pursue, and be sure to ask about any requirements you may be unaware of.
"It didn't fit on my resume, but in 2009, I completed my Certificate in General Insurance through the Insurance Institute of America (IIA). I am currently completing my Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) certificate. Are there any other certificates or licenses required to work in this role?"
"I am new to this industry and just recently completed the Insurance Claims Training Course through FEMA. This was after I submitted my resume but before this interview. Are there any other courses that you'd recommend I take immediately? I want to be well prepared for career growth at Travelers."
"Our commitment to learning and development is rooted in our belief that for us to be successful, we must provide our employees with the skills and capabilities to enable them to be successful. Our learning experience platform (LXP) is a centralized hub for all learning resources at the company, where content is both curated and aggregated regularly for a personalized learning experience. This platform houses videos, articles, and courses - both Travelers-created resources and content from third-party providers. It provides an immersive and customized experience to meet our employees' learning needs. Employees can use the platform to assess their skills and learn from subject matter experts across Travelers. During 2022, more than 90% of Travelers employees engaged with the platform and accessed more than 1.4 million learning resources, including articles, videos, and courses. On average, Travelers employees logged in to the learning platform every six days."

I am currently pursuing my CIC with 2 classes completed already. COVID has put a halt to my progress for the time being but plan to attend the next class once things return to normal.

I have not obtained any insurance certifications or licenses. I have researched information on obtaining an adjusters license but I was told it was not needed for this role. I also want to be prepared for any roles at Travelers and willing to train for certifications.
