What makes you a good fit for this role?
"I enjoy going for walkabouts in my spare time. Whether a hike in the country or the city, I enjoy being out and about. Rain or shine, this is what makes me happy, and part of that is staying fit. My mum always told me to do what you love. That is what brings me here. I want to be part of something where I am doing what I love, working with others who feel the same."
"Be Positive, Be Brilliant, and Be Part of it. Our values represent the way we do things in Royal Mail. We want Royal Mail to be recognised as the best delivery company in the UK and across Europe. Our values will help us to achieve this because they help us see that it's not just 'what' we do, but 'how' we do it that's important. Royal Mail values apply to every employee and define the way we should act as individuals and as a company; they are an inherent part of our culture."
Your interviewer is curious how well you've prepared for this interview and to what lengths you've researched what it is like working for Royal Mail. They are curious why you feel this is a good fit and if you identified what they could offer your career. If, after researching their values, culture, and expectations, it does feel like a good fit for your goals or personality, then answer this question in an informed manner. This will give them insights into how thorough you are and into your work ethic.

In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, walking my dog and generally being outdoors. I am the happiest when I can interact with people and be active at the same time. I also have experience in dispatch for a large company, which gave me skills in handling large numbers of packages and keeping things organized.
