Can you describe a time you had to work as part of a team to complete a task or project?
"I am all about building relationships with my teams. It is part of what motivates me to come to work each day. The greater the camaraderie, the more you want to put your all into it. I look at my work, day in and day out, as a team effort. I do my part; they do theirs. Even when we don't interact, and my work is solitary, I never lose sight that my part is just one part of that team effort."
Your interviewer is assessing how team-oriented you are and whether you embrace their values towards teamwork. "Our values bring us together. They inspire us. They help us deliver for our customers and each other. They're how we want to work together and the standard we measure ourselves against." How you answer will show how well you build and foster relationships with your colleagues and customers. "We listen to each other and support each other, because after all, where would we be without each other?"
Incorporate their language and keywords into your answers where you can do so without seeming too forced. Showcase how you already embrace the vision and mission of Royal Mail and how you'll prioritise their promise to their customers above your wants or needs. Describe the value you place on building professional relationships. "It's all about our team. Be Part of it - because it's great to be part of something that matters."

Whilst working at _______, there was a sale and a large amount of roses were ordered. I didn't work in that department but I heard of the build-up of orders and managed to process my work quickly so I was able to move over to their department and help move the boxed roses ready to be collected in time by the postman, we managed to finish the task in time and all the customers got their roses.
