Asking about where you'd like to grow in three years rather than five is a reference to what they advertise in their recruiting efforts on their website. "Over the span of three years, we will work toward a future where there is increased emphasis on growth and development, using technology to personalize careers at PwC, all while keeping our clients' needs at the center. Our people are the heartbeat of our firm, and we've taken the necessary time to listen and ask them questions to better understand their evolving wants and needs. We want to give our people personalization within their career. The future state will have increased emphasis on growth and development, rewards and benefits customized, well-being further stitched into our daily experiences, and the flexibility to support our people as their lives and needs shift over time."

HireVue offers practice questions on their website to prepare you for their process. While the practice questions may not apply directly to PwC, it can still serve as a useful exercise. "While virtual interviewing isn't difficult, a little practice can help you prepare. Most on-demand interviews ask you to give your answer in just a few minutes. It's helpful to think about how you will illustrate your skills clearly in that timeframe, and to practice them out loud."

Once a question is posed, you'll be allowed roughly 20-30 seconds per question to formulate your response. You're allowed up to three minutes to record each answer. There are no retakes. You get only one opportunity to record your answers. Some questions may take longer to answer than others, but only take as much time as you need. Don't try to run out the clock or allow it to cut you off. Be as succinct as possible.

"Well, I imagine I would be entering as an associate. So over the next year, I would prioritize my goals to learn everything I could, develop personalized systems for myself, and strive to overachieve at every turn. I would increasingly do everything I could to be mentored by my superiors, actively listen, and take charge of my development. In year two, I would impart what I'd learned over the first year to anyone onboarding, all while seeking to further my leadership skills. Hopefully, in three years, I might be considered for a senior associate position."
