"In college, I had an assignment with a three-week deadline but ended up coming down with COVID. I was excused from meeting the deadline, but for me, it was an issue of integrity, as I had committed to it. I struggled to finish it, and it wasn't my best work. Even though I met the deadline, I asked if I could improve upon it and turn it in late over break, but my professor laughed and told me I was excused from the project, but they felt the work was strong and gave me an A anyway. Still, over break, I revised the project and submitted it a week later, and they commended me on the improvements."
