"Great question and something I've put a lot of thought into if I were to come aboard at KB Home. I see the vital things to focus on during my orientation and training will be learning all of the key players I will be working closely with. This includes both internal managers and the team, along with the external subcontractors and suppliers I will be taking bids from. My approach would be to set as many initial 'get to know you' meetings as I can, because I feel this will allow me to learn processes and ways of business here at KB Home quickly. The other goal I would certainly have would be to gain intimate knowledge of the contracts I would be working with and the procedure for the entire processing of a contract. This will allow me to be up and running in the field in the quickest time."
