How familiar are you with our target market?

Use the research you've done in advance of your interview to answer this question. You should get a good idea of the company's products, services, and target market by looking at their website, social media feeds, and recent press releases. Try to find out what strategies the company uses to reach its particular market. If you are familiar with the target audience, let the interviewer know you have experience reaching out to that segment and implementing some of the strategies the company is using.

"From my research, I understand that Facebook's target market is primarily users ages 24-36 and mid-sized businesses. I can tell from your social media feeds and website that you're focused on offering your users unique products and experiences and that you have some great influencers on Instagram. Facebook's highly educated and big-spending audience is notable for advertisers. That signals opportunities for brands looking to earn sales on high-ticket products."
