Before attending a Sales Associate interview, you should certainly think about what you enjoy about the sales process. Choose a specific aspect of the sales process that you enjoy, whether it is the excitement you get from closing a sale, reaching a sales target, winning a company sales competition, or the satisfaction of helping customers find a product that will benefit their life.

"I really enjoy providing customers with superior service. Delivering exceptional service can disarm a customer, quickly make them trust me, and encourages them to open up about what they are shopping for. I know the direct connection between sales numbers and service levels. I pride myself on giving customers a good experience so that they come back and tell their friends. This level of service means being friendly and helpful, describing the product in detail, and answering any questions the customer may have. Of course, it's incredibly rewarding to exceed my sales targets as well! In my current position, I often double my sales goals and I believe it's because of the level of service I provide and my extensive product knowledge."
