Being that Google Analytics is one of the most popular ways to track the results of online marketing campaigns and website changes made for SEO purposes, the interviewer wants to know if you're comfortable using it. If you have past experience using Google Analytics, tell the interviewer about this. If not, be enthusiastic and discuss the courses and certifications you've taken to learn about it.
"I have used Google Analytics over the past few years in my current role. I'm eager to continue learning how to better utilize it because it contains such a wealth of valuable metrics and information. More recently, I used it to run A/B tests on changes that were made to the company website, and we made decisions based on its insights. I have also used it to view website traffic and demographic trends, in addition to using it to track conversions for various campaigns. I recognize that there are many other more in-depth functions available on Google Analytics, and I look forward to furthering my knowledge in this area."
