The interviewer wants to know how you define success and the steps you take to run a marketing campaign. You will want to show that you have a proven track record of running successful campaigns and that you will be able to do this for them, too. When preparing a response to this question, be sure to clearly outline your campaign, path, and outcome to make it easy for the interviewer to follow.
"Earlier this year, I led my most successful campaign to date with my current employer. First, I built a team with several of my reliable and experienced colleagues. Next, during the planning stage, we outlined our goals, determined our target customers, and decided on a strategy, which in our case included email, social media, and voice messaging. I worked with my team to develop effective email and social media messaging and call scripts. Once the campaign went live, it was vital that we track the results in order to determine the ROI. In the end, our campaign helped the sales team make contact with numerous prospects and close over 25 deals. I am confident I can do this for your company, too."
