If you are new to HR, an ATS collects and stores job applicants' resumes, personal information, interview notes, documentation, and candidate history. When a job seeker applies online to a job posting, their application, documents, and records will automatically populate into the company's ATS. This system allows HR and other decision-makers to quickly see how well the job applicants match the role to which they have applied.
