"Yes, I think it is possible! What makes a great team member is not that they agree with everything but the level of respect and positive thought that goes into the person's communication style. It's okay to disagree; you just have to communicate your thoughts professionally."

Any officer can be great while disagreeing with their superior, as long as they remain loyal, execute their given tasks even though they might disagree. Addressing their concerns with their supervisor in a professional manner would the only sensible way to resolve their concerns.

Yes, absolutely! Everyone has the right to their own opinion and although we don't always have to agree with one another, it is all about the approach. Communicating efficiently, respectfully, and professionally is key when encountering a disagreement. Regardless, it will not get in my way of effectively doing my job as a Border Patrol and I will support and respect whichever route my superior finds best at hand.
Marcie's Feedback
Great response! You're right that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and there's no reason you can't disagree with your superior officer while still supporting and respecting their opinion. This kind of answer will be exactly what the interviewer is looking for!
