QUESTION 13 OF 38

Tell me about a time when you set a goal and achieved it.

As a pharmacist with Walgreens, you will be an integral part of helping the company play an important part in the health and wellness of the community they serve. Your interviewer wants to hear that you would be a goal-oriented pharmacist if they were to offer you the position.

"I have the privilege of working with a remarkable team of talented pharmacists, technicians, and interns. I learn from them all the time. But I also want to return the favor by sharing with them some of the unique things I have learned and offering them the opportunity to practice new skills and grow their careers. My goal has been to always be a great mentor to junior staff and other support staff and last year I was rewarded with my organization's Outstanding Educator award."

As a pharmacist, you've determined that you are more productive when you sent your own goals versus when goals are handed down to you from above. Tell the interviewer about any personal service, or staff development goals you have set for yourself and achieved in the past. If you are a new graduate, it certainly is okay to discuss a goal you set and achieved during your academic career.
