How do you continue to stay educated in the pharmacy field?

As a pharmacist, you have to complete continuing pharmacy education to maintain your professional competencies as well as your state CPE requirements. Walgreens needs to be confident that any pharmacist they bring aboard maintains a focus on being at the forefront of new breakthroughs in the field that they can bring to their pharmacy.

Tell the interviewer about home study CPE activities, live activities, and other training programs you have attended to keep your certification current. Go ahead and tell the interviewer about the course or workshop you attended that you enjoyed and learned from.

"I regularly participate in the NABP live webinars and home study sessions. During the pandemic, I really took advantage of some great sessions. As a member of the APhA, I subscribe to the pharmacy Today publication and have attended the annual meeting many times throughout my career. I love the ability to network with other pharmacy professionals throughout the country on a regular basis."
