What can we do to improve the UNICEF website?
You will be asked this question if you are interviewing for a position managing UNICEF's website (www.unicef.org). First, show that you have thoroughly examined the website by sharing some things you like about it. Next, talk about any ideas you have to improve its functionality and/or its content.
"I believe www.unicef.org is a beautiful website visually. The color scheme is soft and inviting. The content is an excellent blend of program information, client and volunteer stories, advocacy work, current events, and informative data about UNICEF's work in hundreds of countries. I think there is an opportunity to add languages to the current selections of English, French, and Spanish to expand the website's accessibility to include stakeholders who speak Mandarin, German, Afrikaans, and more."
"UNICEF's main website, as well as its subsidiaries, is clean, easy to use, and delivers a great amount of vital information explaining the organization's mission, vision, and work. During the time I spent exploring the website, I was pleased to see many compelling videos supporting the written content. If I was managing the website, I would increase the amount of audiovisual material featured on the website, as studies have shown users are more likely to click through pages with intriguing videos. This tactic would appeal to many younger supporters and increase general engagement."
Avoid being negative about the website. Refer to any potential areas of improvement as "opportunities" and explain how those opportunities can benefit UNICEF.
