In that capacity, I was responsible for overseeing the formation of dozens of field offices in South America, Africa, and Southeast Asia. As such, I was required to not only participate in but also to develop and implement cultural sensitivity training for my staff. I also ensured we hired people native to each region in which we opened offices to maintain trust within the community and receive honest, authentic input directly from those we were serving."
