As in any hotel chain, the success or failure of a hotel is based on the numbers. RevPAR stands for Revenue Per Available Room, and it is only one indicator of how well a hotel is doing. The interviewer would like to know that you have an understanding of how Ritz-Carlton is profitable. The better you understand, the more likely it is that you will be able to contribute to their bottom line successfully. Keep your response to the point and easy to understand.
