In which hotel management programs and software do you have experience?
There are a variety of programs that hotels use for data capture and POS systems. The interviewer needs to know if you have had any exposure to these kinds of systems so that your learning curve won't be as steep. Share with the interviewer the programs that you have used. If you are new to the hotel industry, you can discuss any CRM, Point of Sale, or other customer tracking database with which you are familiar. Assure the hiring manager that you can quickly pick up any programs and that you will take the initiative when it comes to learning theirs.
