Tell me about your experiences giving presentations in front of large groups.

This question is usually asked if your job responsibility is to give presentations to large groups. The interviewer wants to see you have the experience and confidence they seek. Public speaking can be intimidating, and the interviewer wants to know that you can communicate well in front of large numbers of people. Perhaps you have taken courses or training in public speaking, or you might have so much experience it comes second nature. Assure the interviewer that you are capable of giving presentations should it be required in your role with Reckitt Benckiser.

"In my last two roles, I have been responsible for regularly presenting to my team of 43 staff and our warehouse team of more than 200. I have also been part of my local Toastmasters group, which greatly helped. Overall, I feel that I am a confident public speaker."

"I do not have much experience presenting to large groups, but I regularly present to groups averaging around 8 to 10 people. I am a confident speaker in that setting and am sure I could present in front of many people. I have found that being well-prepared and practicing beforehand helps alleviate some anxiety. It's also important to engage with the audience and make eye contact, which can help to establish a connection and keep their attention. If I practice the same techniques with a large group, I will have the same confidence."
