Despite more current trends, many consumer products have been tested on animals. What are your thoughts on this?

I think products should not contain harmful chemicals; the more natural they are, the better. That's one of the attractive elements of the Reckitt Benckiser philosophy - its focus on minimizing and eliminating ingredients of potential concern."

"Overall, I do not support testing on animals. I believe that science has come far enough that this practice is unnecessary. Consumers, on the whole, expect their products to be ethically sourced and manufactured in a cruelty-free fashion and are even amenable to paying a premium for ethically produced products if that's what it takes. I believe my philosophy fits well with that of Reckitt Benckiser and its commitment, for example, to phase out plastic microbeads in personal and home care products, recognizing their potential negative impact on the marine environment."
