Mental health issues are an epidemic all over the globe, and Ramsay Health Care has many resources dedicated to mental health treatment. And no matter what specialty area or department you work in, mental health issues can be witnessed, and proper resources can be brought to the patient's attention. Talk to your interviewer about your role and how a patient's mental health can be discussed. If you don't work directly with patients, use personal experience to express how proper care for patients with mental health crises is essential.

Show the interviewer that you are concerned with your patients' mental health and have resources you can direct them to. If you do not work directly with patients, give a personal experience of someone you know or love and what you did to help them.

"Working in a primary care setting, I frequently see patients battling mental health issues like depression, drug addiction, and PTSD. Because of the great relationships I build with my patients, I can recommend mental health treatment at our facility or utilize other resources to learn about what they may be suffering from. I find that most of the time, people struggling with mental health don't realize they are struggling until they do some research and soul searching all around themselves."
