"Demand Side Platforms automates the process in which ads are purchased and sold. This tool makes the process more cost efficient, and because it is automated, it removes the possibility of human error in ad selections. It allows for better targeting of ads as well with the use of vast browsing history data. I strongly believe that the usefulness of a Demand Side Platform is limited by the experience of the person using it. Marketo may benefit by offering on-going training to its clients to ensure they are maximizing the value of the platform."
