Frito Lay does conduct background checks and drug screenings on all new employees. "We do not conduct background checks until an offer of employment has been made and accepted. Our Company will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and all other applicable laws. A negative drug screen is required for all roles within Frito Lay. Additionally, we follow both state and federal guidelines regarding medical marijuana, based on job role." Also, according to external sources online, former employees reported that corporate office candidates are not drug tested, but applicants for factory and driving positions do have to complete a five-panel urine test and drug screening to gain employment.
