The interviewer would like to know what level of responsibility you were entrusted with regarding decision-making in the workplace. Your answer will offer them insights into your level of experience, seniority, and ability to exhibit sound judgment while being self-guided in your work, as opposed to requiring constant supervision. If the job you are interviewing for requires you to be decisive and quick on your feet, you will need to be able to provide relevant examples which highlight sound judgment, prioritizing the needs of the team while supporting the vision of your leadership.
