"Truthfully, there were several positions available which I am not quite yet qualified for, each of which was rather enticing. However, after further examination of the training, mentorships, and developmental opportunities Maersk offers, I decided it is better to keep an open mind about the direction I could potentially take my career if awarded the opportunity. I consider myself very adaptable and have adjusted my five-year career plan multiple times over my career as new opportunities presented themselves. However, I would like to take my career far, building out my leadership skills, while increasing my responsibility. But whatever I do, I hope it is with the added benefit of coaching and mentoring the others on my teams."
