"I love coaching and helping out my teammates any chance I get. Having built this open and trusting relationship with them, they are never shy to repay the favor and offer suggestions that help me perform better. Recently, one teammate I work with is often shy in presenting ideas to management, and as a result, they have difficulty finding their voice. So, when for the fifth time they asked me to present an idea on their behalf, I refused but offered to coach them on their presentation skills instead. So we sat down together for lunch, where I offered them encouragement and ideas to help them feel comfortable, structure their suggestions, and bolster their confidence. At the end of their shift, they thanked me for my advice, and they've only improved since."
