"I am a very visual person, and when I try to share something I envision, I immediately accept that not everyone's brain works similarly to mine. Everyone is wired differently and has different ways of looking at things. So, when a teammate came up with an idea for a project we were about to embark upon, they suggested leading with a particular approach. As much as I wanted to support them, I envisioned how the approach wouldn't work. But they felt pretty strongly about it and kept reiterating the pros, not grasping the cons I foresaw. Eventually, I came up with a creative demonstration, and they were then able to understand what I was saying. We had a good laugh about it and started over."
