There will be people who are skeptical about music therapy. It could be patients, family members, or other healthcare providers. Although music therapy is science-based and not a hoax, there will be times you will need to 'convince' skeptics that music therapy is beneficial to most patients. The most obvious way to convince a parent that music therapy could be helpful to their child is to have them observe a session. They can see what type of response their child has to music to determine if music therapy will be beneficial.
