"My communication skills are excellent. I feel communication skills are one of the most important aspects of this job. I actively listen to my patients and watch their body language to see if music therapy works for them. I explain to the patient and their family members what their treatment plan entails and must communicate with other team members to be on the same page. I also document my findings in the patient's medical chart, so it is important that I have excellent written communication skills."
