One is by following some of the most trusted sources in the business of learning, such as Training Industry and Dale Carnegie. I'm also part of a LinkedIn forum for training professionals through which I've had a great history of networking with the best in the business. With so many trends coming up in the space, I like having these sources as a filter that distills the information for me. By subscribing to newsletters and listening to podcasts, I have an easy way of picking certain aspects in these think pieces and discussions that apply to my work. For example, I recently learned about few methods of combating virtual meeting fatigue. I shared this with my team, and they were able to apply some of the techniques in their virtual learning sessions."
