Question 22 of 35

What is one of your weaknesses?

"My weakness is setting boundaries between my work life and my personal life. I enjoy working, and I give a lot of myself to the things I care about most. Sometimes, I have a hard time turning off my work mode, and this can lead to burnout. I'm working on setting better boundaries, like not checking my email after a certain time and asking others to hold me accountable to be being fully present, both at work and with my family at home."

"My weakness is that I sometimes struggle to switch off and have been known to carry my work duties into my personal time, finding myself checking emails at home. This can lead to unnecessary stress and fatigue. However, I have learned and now understand the importance of work/life balance. Instead of removing my work emails from my phone, I decided to turn off notifications and only check the phone when I know something urgent could come up. This way I can still deal with urgent matters when they arise but still switch off when leaving work."

      Marcie's Feedback

Excellent! This is a good weakness to mention because it can also be seen in a positive light (you care about work and think about it outside of work hours). You also do a great job of explaining how you've worked to overcome this weakness. This is a strong response!
