What are some specific things you look for in an admission application?

"I tend to look first at the student's involvement in their community. I find the students who make the biggest impact on campus are those who are actively involved in extracurriculars. I enjoy reading applications from students with clear interests and passions. It makes me excited about admitting them and imagining all they would bring to the campus. I also look at their academic progress and performance and how they are described in their letter of recommendation. Each piece of the application is important to consider carefully."
