How do you stay current on recent trends and developments in the industry?

Vodafone's recruiters advise that you "always answer truthfully - ensure that all the information you are providing to an interviewer is accurate. It's tempting to want to sound like the perfect candidate, but remember we often look for potential, including those who acknowledge their areas of development and are willing to learn and grow."

You always want to be ready to answer what's being asked. Be prepared to back up your claims. For example, if you tell your interviewer you subscribe to the tech magazine, Wired, and never miss an article, be prepared to discuss them. And don't forget to keep it natural. Showing your personality can go a long way, just like when you do live interviews or phone calls. Sounding too rehearsed can make you sound wooden or dull.

"In addition to subscribing to all the greatest hits of tech magazines and blogs, I also enjoy combing through the articles and blogs on Vodafone's website. There's a lot of great stuff there."
