First Aid and CPR training is required for most roles in the airline industry. Assure the interviewer that you have current and valid CPR and First Aid certification. If you have no experience and are not trained in CPR and First Aid, consider taking or scheduling a class before the interview. That way, you can share when your certification class is scheduled and that you take this opportunity very seriously. If you do not, express your willingness to do so. Also, go into your interview with the knowledge of what United Airlines details on their website: that in-flight crew members "will begin with six weeks' long training in Houston, TX learning United safety and customer service standards." Be prepared to ask a question about what the six weeks of training entails, and take notes as they answer your question.

"I do not currently hold a valid CPR and First Aid certification; however, I am happy to complete this requirement right away. I couldn't find much about the training offered for this position when I researched online. Is it published somewhere online? I'd love to learn more about what it entails."

"Yes, I have formal training in First Aid and CPR. I have brought my certifications here for you to see. I am also excited and willing to undergo any recommendations United would make, on or off the job, to enhance my skills."
