Why is it important to create a seamless candidate experience?

As a recruiter, I want my candidates to feel the hiring process as seamless and professional as possible. The way we treat each other is a reflection of how we currently treat and will treat our external customers.

This is a very important core value that I live by, "Treat others as you want to be treated". There have been jobs that I have applied for in the past and experienced a dreadful application process. As I received notifications from the HR team, I felt so under appreciated, like they were doing me a favor. I never want our candidates to feel that way when they apply at Stripe.
