I used to think that learning and development were more part of the retention aspect of a company's HR strategy, however I think there is a current shift in the workforce. I want to make sure that Stripe is the place that will invest in my professional development and will open the door for training to my unique needs.

Learning and Development in recruiting is super important because it gives me the tools I need to better recruit candidates and talk about my company as being focused on my growth and embraces diversity. I want to be in a company that cares about me as a person and that will create a learning environment every chance I get.

I want to be able to recruit friends and colleagues to work here at Stripe, but I have to make sure that you have these programs that are very much needed. I look forward to coming to work and being able to access various training and learning pods that will increase my professional growth. It shows me that this company cares about me.
